Petition - Help Still Needed!
We still need people to print the petitions and gather signatures! Even a handful of signatures each will help us reach our goal of bringing this back to the legislature. Please keep getting signatures and send them back to ACTA end of September.
PETITION FORM below, as well as an INFORMATION SHEET to help with asking for signatures.
THREE SIMPLE STEPS:
Print the petition sheet(s) below.
Get signatures (Signatories do NOT need to be 18+ to sign. They simply must be a resident of Alberta)
Mail the completed petition sheets to ACTA:
PO Box 77054
St. Albert, AB T8N 6C1
Note: This is a paper and pen petition, as that is the only form of petition that the Legislative Assembly will recognize and allow to be entered at the Assembly. Electronic signatures are not accepted. Individuals may sign the petition as well as the letter of support that gets sent to your MLA and Minsters Copping and Ellis.
Did You Miss our Recent Advocacy Update?
We recently sent out an advocacy update with many ways you can participate, including our new petition campaign. Please take a few moments to read. As we head into an election, this is a critical time to send the message to government that Albertans care about regulation of the counselling professions!
