Stakeholder Support for Regulation of Counselling Therapy

Key stakeholders have written to the Alberta Government in support of regulation of the counselling professions and proclaiming the CCTA. 

The Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association, representing 99% of Canada’s life and health insurance business, wrote to the Minister of Mental Health and Addiction and the Minister of Health.

The Rural Municipalities Association, representing 69 rural municipalities in Alberta, wrote to the Government in support of regulation and proclaiming of the CCTA.

Post-secondaries in Alberta have written to the Government to request proclamation of the CCTA.

Employers of Counselling Therapy have written to the Government to request the proclamation of the CCTA (82 Employers signed the letter.)
